CORE Design Group this Friday is moving into the Hanover office of James E. Baumgardner Architect at 141 Broadway, the company announced Tuesday.

At the same time, architect James Baumgardner of Baumgardner Architect is joining CORE’s design group team. He has more than 30 years of architectural experience, according to a news release.

CORE, founded in 2005, has its main office at 37 N. Queen St., York, and also has offices in Maryland and Delaware.

“We are very excited,” CORE business development official Angie Garrison said Wednesday. “For 2016, we’re just going to expand our efforts to meet our clients’ needs.”

Peter Lutz is president of CORE Design Group, while Teen Vebares is its vice president.

CORE has grown from eight employees at the start of 2015 to 19 now, and plans to continue growing, Garrison said.

Among the new employees are an engineer, CADD draftsmen and architectural designers to keep up with CORE’s growing client base.

The firm’s projects include downtown York’s White Rose Bar & Grill, York’s Helen Thackston Charter School, the Dallastown Area Senior High School Library and the West Cecil Health Center in Havre de Grace, Md.
