Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will speak at a town hall event Tuesday afternoon at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County.

Tickets for the event are available on the Trump campaign website. Doors will open at noon and the event is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

Pence’s visit to the midstate follows Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s rally last week in Cumberland County.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also stopped in Central Pennsylvania late last month.

Pennsylvania will see more campaign visits over the next three months as the candidates’ battle to win the state in November’s election.

In Lancaster County there has been a recent push to promote Trump to the Amish community.

Amish PAC, a Virginia-based political-action committee looking to gain votes for GOP candidates from among the plain communities of Pennsylvania and Ohio, put up two Trump billboards in Lancaster County and placed Trump ads in Amish newspapers .

The PAC is hopeful that Pence is asked about the Amish or addresses the importance of the plain community coming out to vote, according to PAC spokesperson Ben Walters.
