Firm with Lancaster County factory divests portion of its business

Listen to this articleAll America Threaded Products Inc. said Monday it sold its large-volume, commodity threaded rod business in Indianapolis to Vulcan Threaded Products, Inc., a division of Steel Dynamics Inc.
AATP said it will continue to operate its divisions in Manheim Township, just outside Lancaster, and Denver, Col. The company will focus on producing and selling specialty threaded products out of those locations, it said in a statement.
With the sale of the commodity business, AATP plans to concentrate on sales of studs, anchor bolts, U-bolts and specials, while continuing to supply plain and plated low-carbon threaded rod in small quantities, the company said.
Buyer Vulcan Threaded Products is “a well-established company with an excellent reputation,” the AATP statement continued.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
