Listen to this article“We appreciate Harrisburg University’s partnership with us and their support of our employees seeking to advance their education and further their careers,” said Philip Guarneschelli, president and CEO of the Harrisburg-based health system which was known until recently as PinnacleHealth.
Under the plan, UPMC Pinnacle will set eligibility criteria for employees and spouses. They will then “receive a significant reduction” in tuition and training fees for HU undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and training programs, including adult education courses.
“Harrisburg University is pleased to continue partnering with UPMC Pinnacle on learning endeavors,” HU president Eric Darr said. “This agreement ensures that UPMC Pinnacle employees and spouses have full access to an affordable, world-class science and technology education.”
