Hot Frog Print Media buys Carlisle company

Listen to this articleThe Mechanicsburg-based commercial printing and apparel company purchased Carlisle-based graphic, design and typesetting company Printed Image, according to a statement Thursday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to include Printed Image as part of the Hot Frog family,” company president James Geedy said. “The acquisition confirms our focus on offering quality services to our customers.”
It also represents Hot Frog’s second major purchase this year. In July, the company acquired Carlisle-based Devore Associates, Inc., also known as Integra Print & Image.
As part of the latest deal, Printed Image will move its operations from North Hanover Street in Carlisle to Hot Frog’s facilities on West Allen Street in Mechanicsburg.
Printed Images traces its roots to C&J Enterprises, which was founded 1977. Printed Image emerged from a series of later acquisitions by founder John Thompson.
Thompson and his staff will continue to serving their customers as part of Hot Frog.
Hot Frog’s offerings include graphic design services, digital printing, commercial offset printing, apparel and direct mail services.
