Yuengling adds Kentucky, now distributing to 22 states
Listen to this articleYuengling said today that it has signed agreements with four wholesale distributors in Kentucky. They will begin carrying its products in March, including Yuengling’s flagship beer, Yuengling Traditional Lager, as well as its light lager and black-and-tan brands.
“The expansion into the great state of Kentucky is long overdue,” said Dick Yuengling, owner and president of the company.
The longtime brewery owner and industry icon sat down with the Business Journal in late 2016 to talk about his family company and changes in the craft-beer industry.
Yuengling began distributing in Indiana, its 20th state, last March. The company recently added Arkansas, where distribution of Yuengling beer will start in February.
