Daubert is the first woman to take the role since the local automotive club was founded in 1907, according to the club.

The local club operates 11 offices in nine counties. It has 290 employees. Daubert officially takes over on Feb. 14, succeeding David Meckley, who served as interim CEO.

“I am honored to have been selected by the Board of Directors to continue AAA Central Penn’s momentum,” Daubert said in a statement. “And I’m excited to lead this well-respected, member-centric organization.”

Daubert joins AAA Central Penn after recently serving as senior vice president of merchandising for Ahold USA Inc. in Cumberland County, the parent company of Giant Food Stores.

She started working at Ahold USA in high school, ascending the ranks during a 30-year tenure with the supermarket company. She is a graduate of Shippensburg University.
