Pennoni Associates Inc. recently agreed to a lease that will move the company’s local operations from the Westport Business Center in Lower Allen Township to a new space in the Rossmoyne Business Center in Upper Allen Township.

The new office at 5072 Ritter Road is 12,000 square feet and is a little more than a mile away from the company’s current office on Manor Drive.

Office director Todd Stager said the proposed floor plan for the new office can support up to 64 employees. Pennoni, which has 35 offices across its footprint, currently employs 45 people in Cumberland County.

“Hopefully by October we will be ready to move,” he said.

The company’s current lease is set to expire at the end of the year. Stager said Pennoni looked about 20 relocation options since last fall with Sean Fitzsimmons of Landmark Commercial Realty before deciding on the nearby Rossmoyne space.

Both its current and new office are owned by the same landlord, Wormleysburg-based Linlo Properties.

“The Ritter Road location supported the square footage we needed for growth, advanced technology, enhanced exposure to creativity and a sense of place,” Stager said.

Pennoni recently hired four employees. As the company looks to add a new utilities division in Cumberland County, Stager said the goal is to hire a few more employees by the end of the year.

“The new space will also allow us to further offer clients access to other services within the firm beyond our office, including wastewater, asset management, site and landscape design support, mechanical, engineering and plumbing (MEP) and environmental,” he said.
