New wealth advisory opens in Lancaster

Larry Sherman, founding partner of Odyssey Group Wealth Advisors, previously was a partner with Sherman Werst Wealth Advisors in Lancaster.
Aaron Sherman, president and founding partner at Odyssey Group, was a financial adviser with Sherman Werst.
The Shermans left Sherman Werst to start Odessey Group.
Sherman Werst remains in business, but is changing its name, according to Graby.
Before becoming a financial adviser, Aaron Sherman worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, coordinating reforms in derivatives markets with policymakers in the U.S. and around the world.
A resident of Manheim Township, Aaron Sherman also is vice president of the board of trustees of the Lancaster Public Library.
Serving as the new firm’s vice president is Drew Kavanaugh.
Previously he was responsible for investment policy review, portfolio strategy development and implementation for Ambassador Advisors LLC in Manheim Township.
Odyssey Group offers specialists in areas such as investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, business planning and risk management.
