Mid Penn opens branch in Pillow

“Mid Penn Bank is committed to increasing our support and expanding within this region, which in 2018 has included the opening of our Halifax branch and now our Pillow branch,” Rory G. Ritrievi, president and CEO of Mid Penn Bank said in a statement.
The bank submitted an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. to open the branch earlier this summer.
The Pillow branch will provide personal banking, business banking and lending services.
A subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp Inc., the bank has assets of approximately $2 billion, up from $1.4 billion after the bank acquired First Priority Financial Corp. in July.
Headquartered in Millersburg, Mid Penn operates 38 branches in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Fayette, Lancaster, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northumberland, Schuylkill and Westmoreland counties
Mid Penn reported net income of $2.8 million in the second quarter of 2018, up from $2.3 million in the second quarter of 2017.
