Accounting

East Pennsboro Township-based Boyer & Ritter named Zachary A. Boyd, Kyle R. Evans, Derek R. Heath, Chad D. Levan, Garrett M. Ofenloch, Jared M. Wolfgang, Brian J. Kutz and Scott A. Koman supervisors. Boyd is a CPA. He works in the Centre County office, provides auditing, accounting and tax services, and supports the government services, internal audit and business services groups. Evans works with businesses and nonprofits and personal income tax. He supports the firm’s business services, internal audit and government services groups. Heath works with businesses and nonprofits and personal income tax and supports the employee benefit plan, business services, internal audit and government services groups. Levan is a CPA who works with nonprofits, automobile dealerships and individuals. Ofenloch provides auditing and tax services for clients and industry groups and supports the business services, internal audit and small business groups. Wolfgang is a CPA who works with local governments, school districts and nonprofit entities and supports the government services group. Kutz is a CPA who helps clients navigate tax laws, regulations and rulings to develop effective planning strategies. He supports the tax services group. Koman is a CPA who works with for-profit and nonprofit organizations and government entities. He supports the forensic, litigation support and consulting group. Christine D. Shontz, Emily J. Griffith and Jordan Sallavanti were named senior associates. Shontz provides audit, accounting and tax services for nonprofits, government, school districts, auto dealerships and closely held businesses. Griffith works with governmental entities and supports the forensic, litigation support and consulting group. Sallavanti provides auditing, accounting and tax services.

Architecture/engineering

East Lampeter Township-based Greenfield Architects Ltd. named Kenneth J. Bart designer. He will provide code research, schematic design, design development, construction documents and specifications for architectural projects. He was project manager with Wallover Architects Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree from New York Institute of Technology.

New York-based Erdman Anthony named Chad Martin senior associate in the Harrisburg office. He is a project manager in the firm’s transportation business. He is a professional engineer, a professional traffic operations engineer and has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Penn State. Debra Thomas was named an associate, also in the Harrisburg office. She is a member of the human resources team and was a human resources generalist. She has an associate degree from Harcum College and a certificate from Villanova University.

Shrewsbury-based JE Good Consulting Engineers LLC named Donna Chandler director of client services. She will lead marketing and business development efforts, including market expansion, client development, proposal and presentation response and communications.

Virginia-based Dewberry named Scott Hunter a senior project manager in the Mechanicsburg office. He will manage structural design projects with a focus on transportation. He was the project manager, lead bridge engineer and lead hydraulic engineer for a PennDOT contract for engineering and environmental services. He is a professional engineer and has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State.

Lancaster-based RGS Associates named Andy Hipple an associate. He was senior network and systems administrator. He will maintain and progress the network, applications and servers, and manage support and training initiatives.

The Harrisburg-based Fraternal Order of Police Pennsylvania State Lodge elected Les Neri president. He is a retired detective from the Tredyffrin Township Police Department. Roosevelt Poplar was elected vice president, John Fiorill second vice president, Joseph Regan recording secretary, Joseph Fitzgerald financial secretary, Joseph Brown treasurer and Kenneth Kensill sergeant at arms. James Harrity was elected national trustee, and Colette Smith, William J. Buttenbusch, Eugene Hatcher, Vince DiCenzo Jr., Jason Brinker and Kim Sweeney were elected trustees.

Banking/finance

Lower Paxton Township-based Centric Bank named Michael P. St. Hilaire portfolio manager. He will assist the commercial lending department in new money requests and customer retention, including portfolio tracking, maintenance, financial analysis and correspondence with commercial clients. He was a credit analyst. He has a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University.

Chambersburg-based F&M Trust named Rachel Bowers community office manager for the Chambers Pointe and Brookview community offices. She will be responsible for consumer lending, business development, deposit services, customer service and strengthening community relationships. She was the assistant financial services officer for the Waynesboro Community Office. She has a bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University. Hannah Rebuck was named investment and trust services assistant relationship manager. She will provide trust administration, investment, estate and retirement services to customers in the Franklin County area. Most recently, she was the investment and trust services support specialist. She has a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University.

Lower Allen Township-based Members 1st Federal Credit Union named Chad Barthol vice president of relationship management. He was vice president and regional manager with M&T Bank. He has a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University. Bentley Zeigler was named branch manager of the Middletown branch. She was assistant branch manager of the Strawberry Square branch in Harrisburg.

Construction

High Construction Co. named Ryan Z. Zwickle assistant superintendent. He will manage jobsites, ensuring the work is on schedule, on budget and to drawing specifications. He will also check the site to ensure its safety, and develop daily and weekly progress reports. He was lead carpenter and foreman with Richard Pierce Builders Inc. He has an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Courts

The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania named Renardo Hicks a member of the Judicial Selection Advisory Committee. He is a partner in the Harrisburg office of Philadelphia-based Dilworth Paxson LLP and provides legal and consulting services to public utilities, government entities, churches, businesses, and colleges and universities.

Health care

Harrisburg-based UPMC Pinnacle named Dr. John Murphy a member of its Lancaster-based Orthopaedic Specialists of Central PA. He specializes in non-surgical sports medicine. He was the team physician for various high school and university sports teams. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and a medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Highmark Health named Dennis P. Brenckle a board member. Brenckle is the retired president of PNC Bank’s Central Pennsylvania Region. He is a graduate of Duquesne University.

Springettsbury Township-based McConkey Insurance & Benefits named Gayle Velky controller. She is a CPA and has a degree from Shippensburg University. Leslie Magyar was named a business insurance executive. She was employed with Eastern Alliance Insurance Co. She has a degree from Millersville University.

Lemoyne-based Gunn-Mowery LLC named Jacqueline Law commercial account assistant. She will assist the commercial service staff. She has a degree from Millersville University.

Law

Harrisburg-based Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP named attorney Matthew K. Myer an associate. He was a law clerk with Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas.

East Hempfield Township-based GSM Industrial Inc. named Jarrod Randel vice president of sales. He was employed with Southeastern Industrial Fabrication. He was a nuclear reactor operator in the U.S. Navy and has a degree from the University of Tampa.

Southampton Township-based The Beistle Co. named Ron Showaker controller and secretary. He was assistant treasurer and assistant secretary. He is a CPA, a certified treasury professional and a notary public. He has a degree from Shippensburg University.
